PUP turned 5 this year and to celebrate printed 50 of this limited edition t-shirt. Each Anniversary shirt purchase will be entered for a chance to win (1) Commissioner Weekender bag, (retailed at $165). These shirts are part of our campaign to promote idea generation and innovation in our city. Shirts were designed by PUP and printed locally by our friends at The Art Press. Join PUP as we celebrate 5 years of accomplishments and announce plans for the next 5 years. Individuals and companies are encouraged to support the organization through product sales and PUPstop sponsorships.
PUP is primarily supported through product sales. We work with local designers to repurpose this resource as locally made products including our wallets and handbags. The money raised from the sale of these goods go toward community projects, including the PUPstop program. The effort, the salvage of old Bush Stadium seats, is in partnership with IndyGo. Some of these seats are being refurbished and installed at bus stops throughout Indianapolis.
Those familiar with the PUP product line can expect new items this season including The Clerk, a new ladies handbag that can be carried 6 different ways (Retail $95), and The Commissioner weekender bag (Retail $165).

We partnered with IndyGo, Ecolaborative, and Indianapolis Fabrications to develop the Bush Stadium Seat Salvage project.
Our goal is to install the seats throughout the city, at bus stops and public spaces.
Last week, the PUP and IndyGo collaboration to salvage historic Bush Stadium seating and repurpose as benches at bus stops, known as the PUPstop program, won an Indiana Innovation Award. The awards program is the centerpiece of the Day of Innovation hosted by Centric Indy, a local coalition with a mission to elevate Indianapolis as a globally recognized center for innovation.
“The collaboration with PUP on the stadium seating project is a model for innovation in the public sector,” said Samantha Cross, IndyGo vice president of business development. “We hope it inspires others to take a fresh look at public spaces, infrastructure and collaboration.”
In order to make even more of an impact on transit stops in Indianapolis, IndyGo and PUP have created the program with a cost-sharing component whereby local businesses, community groups and even individuals can sponsor PUPstops. Thanks to cost sharing, within the next few months IndyGo will have placed nearly 20 PUPstops around the city.
The IndyGo staff will determine site eligibility for upgrade to a PUPstop and will work with program participants to negotiate a donation to cover an appropriate share of site costs. Our PUPstop Project was selected to be apart of SpontaneousInterventions: design actions for the common good. The theme for the U.S. Pavilion at the 13th International Venice Architectural Biennale. PUP is one of 84 design actions featured as a part of the exhibit hosted at the Chicago Cultural Center through September 1, 2013.

We need 13 SPONSORS for 13 DAYS of work at Bush Stadium in order to safely remove all 11,000 seats. Seats will be installed in public places throughout Indianapolis and the state, and will also be available for private purchase. Interested in Sponsoring a Day?
